In order to carry forward culture of traditional Chinese medicine and promote it into the campus, and prevent common chronic diseases, on the afternoon of November 21, Zhang Jingjie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, led a team of 14 well-known experts to GZUC to carry out an activity related to traditional Chinese medicine culture named "Traditional Chinese Medicine Protects Your Health". Chen Yingyong, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of GZUC, attended the activity and made a speech, and Wen Daqiang, Vice President of the Party Committee of GZUC, presided over the meeting.

Xiong Zonghua, Deputy Director of the Cardiology Department and Yang Fan, Director of the Dermatology Department, respectively gave lectures on "Cardiac Safety Assessment" and "Understanding Melasma". Director Xiong Zonghua publicize the knowledge of cardiac safety assessment from four aspects: why heart safety assessment is needed? Which groups need to do heart safety assessment? How to do heart safety assessment? And how can we prevent cardiovascular diseases? Director Yang Fan stated the knowledge of melasma from four aspects: what is melasma? What are the factors that induce the occurrence or aggravation of melasma? What are the gender differences in the occurrence of melasma? And how can we prevent and cure and related taboos?
In the free diagnosis, experts in gastroenterology, dermatology, cardiology, urology, spinal orthopedics, respiratory medicine, nephrology, ultrasound, gynecology, ENT, acupuncture, massage, etc. performed pulse auscultation, blood pressure and blood sugar measurement for teachers and students, and provided acupuncture, ear acupuncture and other appropriate techniques of traditional Chinese medicine. They gave specific diagnosis, treatment suggestions, treatment plans and individualized medication guidance for each teacher and student. They also answered the questions about the prevention and treatment of various diseases in details while operating. Through the activity they not only popularized the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine health care but also distributed health knowledge brochures to teachers and students, and they truly brought medical services to all teachers and students.
