On the afternoon of October 17, the 2023 Huawei talent alliance university-enterprise symposium and double selection meeting were held in the Hubin Convention Center. The event was jointly organized by the Department of Student Affairs (Office of Enrolment and Employment), the Computer and Information Engineering College, and Huawei Technologies Co., LTD. Shenzhen Huitong Business Co., LTD., Guizhou Qisheng Group and other 49 employers provided nearly 200 job vacancies with 1,500 people being required involving communication engineers, big data specialists, new media operations. This recruitment attracted a large number of graduates in 2024, who actively submitted their resumes and communicated with enterprises. Employers received nearly 600 resumes.

Zhou Guohua said at the meeting that university-enterprise cooperation is a path to education reform generally recognized by the education sectors and enterprises. Huawei always insists on passing on leading ICT skills and knowledge to college students, cultivating more outstanding talents for the society, developing an open and prosperous industrial chain cooperation ecology, and helping China's ICT industry to achieve transformation and upgrading. Up to now, Huawei has cooperated with more than 1,000 institutions of higher education around the world, training more than 50,000 students every year. The talent double selection meeting is an important platform for Huawei to connect with industrial demand and talent supply, and build a two-way selection between Huawei industrial chain and Huawei ICT College graduates.
