On the afternoon of October 7th, Party Secretary of GZUC Lyu Guofu, President of GZUC Luo Bing, and Vice President of GZUC Zhang Yong visited Guizhou Normal University to research discipline construction and postgraduate education. Xiao Yuanping, Party Secretary of GZNU, Zhang Shaodong, President of GZNU and Ouyang Enliang, Vice President of GZNU warmly received Lyu Guofu, Luo Bing, and their delegation for a discussion and exchange.
During the meeting, Zhang Shaodong warmly welcomed Lyu Guofu, Luo Bing, and their delegation, briefly introducing the basic situation of Guizhou Normal University and the achievements in discipline construction, postgraduate education, and scientific research since the “14th Five-Year Plan”. He expressed the hope for strengthened exchanges and cooperation between the two universities to enhance each other's capabilities.
Luo Bing noted that in the first half of the year, GZUC successfully passed the Ministry of Education's 2021 undergraduate teaching qualification assessment for general colleges and universities, achieving a new leap in the quality of talent training and the level of education. He hoped for more communication and exchanges with Guizhou Normal University to establish a good cooperative relationship, providing new ideas for further discipline construction and postgraduate training in his university.
Lyu Guofu fully acknowledged and highly praised the achievements of Guizhou Normal University, pointing out its long history, deep cultural heritage, comprehensive range of disciplines, and rich educational resources, making it one of the “national first batch of universities for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship and educational reform”. Since the reform and opening, Guizhou Normal University has made significant contributions in three stages of the development of higher education in Guizhou Province, achieving three historical breakthroughs and actively contributing to the economic and social development of Guizhou Province.
